I am always happy to learn new things from my kids. Here is the latest acquisition (thanks, Katya!):
XKCD, A webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language. A lot of cultural references are obviously over my head, but there are some things I am able to appreciate, for instance,
this one. I wonder though if a Fourier-transformed cat would still say "Meow!" (By the way, you should also read the alternate text that shows up when the cursor is over the strip.)

In many of them the alternative text seems to be funnier than the main one. Your #403 is a good example: I like this variation of the Erdos number!

I think of the alternative text as an important part of the strip. It's not always funnier than the strip, but it always adds something to it.
